The Sacred Appearance
On February 23, 1878 (Magh Vadya Saptami), a divine saint appeared in Shegaon. He was first seen by Bankatlal Agarwal and Damodar Pant sitting under a tree, eating grains from a discarded leaf. This spot, now known as Shree Pragat Sthal, marks the beginning of the spiritual revolution in Shegaon.
The site was originally part of a mansion belonging to Shri Mote, who later gifted the land to the Sansthan. Today, it houses a beautiful memorial with the saint's Padukas and a sculpture depicting that first miraculous day.
Holy Padukas
The sacred footprints (Padukas) of Maharaj are preserved here in a beautifully carved Meghadambari.
The Historic Tree
The spot commemorates the tree under which Maharaj was first seen by the residents of Shegaon.
Annual Celebration
Every year, the 'Pragat Din' is celebrated with immense joy and devotion at this very spot.
