Shegaon Darshan ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Shegaon Darshan mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information that we receive through the Service.

1. Information We Collect and Use

To provide and improve our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

A. Personal Information

• Account Data: When you create an account, we may collect your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address.
• Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication to securely verify your identity.

B. Device and Usage Data

• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data (such as session length, app interactions, and device type) via Google Analytics for Firebase to help us improve the app experience.
• Crash Logs: We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application stability and resolve critical bugs.

C. Specific Device Permissions

For certain features, the Shegaon Darshan App requests specific on-device permissions. You grant these permissions voluntarily and can revoke them at any time in your device's App Settings:

• Location Data: We request Foreground Location permissions (using Geolocator) exclusively when you use the "Add Business" or "Map" features to help auto-fill your physical street address or find nearby spiritual sites. We do not track your location in the background. Data is captured only at the exact moment you tap the location button.
• Camera & Photo Library: We request access to your camera and gallery (using image_picker) solely to allow you to upload profile pictures or images for your business listing. Images are securely uploaded and stored on our Firebase Storage servers.
• Contacts: We request access to your contacts list (using flutter_contacts) strictly to allow you to auto-fill phone numbers when registering a business. We DO NOT upload, sync, or harvest your address book to our servers. The permission acts entirely as a local convenience shortcut.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service (such as displaying Devotional content).
• To manage your business directory listings (e.g., Hotel or Shop registration).
• To communicate with you and provide customer support.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or bugs.
• To analyze app engagement and refine UI/UX.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Account & Data Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can delete your account directly inside the App by navigating to User Profile > Delete Account, which will guide you to our secure account deletion portal. Alternatively, you can email us at developer.shegaondarshan@gmail.com to request a manual deletion of your records from our Firebase servers.

4. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

The application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services operate under their own independent Privacy Policies:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics

5. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use Google Firebase cloud infrastructure which is protected by industry-standard encryption protocols. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
