Originally created to solve the water scarcity in Shegaon, the Sansthan built this massive reservoir (Anand Sagar Lake) by bringing water from the Man River. Today, it stands as a marvel of environmental engineering and spiritual architecture.

Dhyan Kendra (Meditation Centre)

Located in the middle of the lake, reachable via a bridge. It features a 30-foot statue of Swami Vivekananda and a peaceful circular hall for silent meditation.

For a brief period between 2020 and 2024, certain recreational parts of the park (like the water park and toy train) were suspended. This was a conscious decision by the Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan to refocus the site as an Adhyatmik Kendra (Spiritual Centre) rather than a commercial amusement park.

Today in 2026: Anand Sagar is fully open to the public as a spiritual retreat. While most of the amusement rides remain closed, the gardens, the lake, the meditation center, and all spiritual sculptures are perfectly maintained and open for devotees with Free Entry.
